@manvir,Happy to help. Let's take a look at (C).
(C) says, "the highly complex behavior of a dense mass of thousands of ants"
In passage A, the climate trends were described as employing large
numbers of variables and as able to be effectively simulated by
utilizing parallel computing methods. The closest thing we have to
this in passage B is the example about ant colonies, as these ant
colonies also feature huge numbers of variables (which are the ants
themselves) and function together as a complex whole. This is why (C)
makes sense, so it's the correct answer choice.
Does this make sense? Let us know if you have any other questions!

Can you expulsión pleaseeee why D is incorrect ?Ame15 on June 13, 2020
I would also like to know why D is incorrect!ginakd on July 16, 2020
^ Have the same question about D!shunhe on July 28, 2020
Hi @Maria-Marin, @Ame15, and @ginakd,Thanks for the question! So here we’re being asked to find something in passage B that’s most analogous to the large-scale climate trends in passage A. Now, as Ravi said, the large-scale climate trends in passage A are being used to show something super large and complex, and that we have to use enormous calculations to analyze. So let’s take a look at (D), which talks about the paradigm shift from sequential to parallel computing in passage B. Well, that’s something that talks about a shift in approaches to solving certain problems. But again, the climate trends are just an example of some super complex problem. So one’s about solving problems, while the other is about the problems themselves. And so (D) isn’t the most analogous, and is incorrect.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
