I was going back and forth between C and D and ultimately chose D. Would someone be able to compare the two answers for me? Thanks.

@JW I think its because D is talking about revising a definition when the issue at hand is interpretation; which honestly is a slim difference but so it goes. - at least thats what helps me see why C over D.
