Missing Premise Questions

Hi I am still not understanding how to work through the missing premise cards. I think I will need a clear video example or someone to walk this through on the phone with. The example given in other text threads jumps around quite a bit and I am unable to follow the train of thought.

@j906t291, in general, you're looking to add the premise that helps you to fully complete the argument. You want to be able to create a chain that goes from the first premise all the way to the conclusion. I would recommend reviewing our lessons on quantifiers, as those lessons help immensely in getting better at these questions.

For specific ones you're struggling with, feel free to post questions on the message boards, and we'll be happy to look at them with you. That can probably help a lot.

Regarding chatting on the phone, we do have private tutoring available, and if that's something you're interested in, feel free to contact our support staff by tapping "support" from the left menu or by calling 855.483.7862 ext. 2 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT.

In the meantime, feel free to post questions about specific problems you're having, and we can walk through those. That should also provide you with a lot of clarity.
