Why is D incorrect?

I originally picked D but on review picked B; however, what is the correct reasoning that D is not the right answer?

While the author agrees with D most likely, the author is making one big point: the oath may need some minor updates, but it's core should stand. While d is a fact that supports this point, it is not the main point.
