Answer Explanation

Hi LSAT Max, Would lines 20-23 support answer choice (A)? Originally I chose B, but I think the "modern historian" would justify the question asking about the twentieth century. I'm not too sure if that's the reason for the right answer, so any clarification would be greatly appreciated!

The correct answer choice (A) paraphrases this statement.
