The order in which the musicians perform is completely determined if which one of the following is true?

why not B? (question 5/5 of game 2)

I choose answer B because with Miller, everything was determined in the way that I created the order. M 5th puts P 7th, and M>T so T is 6th. 1-4 open knowing N cannot be 1st, I put L as 2nd and O as 4th and put N 3rd so L>N, to which lastly S is first. Does M being 5th then not answer the question? I answered the question S being 1st as the determinate the same way I did as M 5th being the determinate.

Hello @tori06koto,

Putting M 5th does determine our last three spots: M T P.

However, this still leaves multiple possibilities available for 1-4. This is why B is incorrect.

L N O S M T P

O S L N M T P

S L N O M T P

Our correct answer needs to narrow our options down to one possible arrangement.

Placing S first does so, because it requires that P be placed seventh. Therefore, our ending is still the same, M T P. This leaves us with the following order:

S L N O M T P
