The issue with the advertisement is that it takes an extreme stance by saying that one should insist on a complete course of treatment for whiplash after every accident that involves a fall or a bump on the head even though auto accidents most commonly cause whiplash and other types of accidents can produce the same sharp motion of the neck but we have no information on how likely every fall/ bump to result in whiplash. (D) weakens the argument because if it is uncommon to get whiplash from a regular fall/ bump, then it is unreasonable to get a full whiplash treatment after every fall/ bump as the ad suggests. (E) has no impact on the argument because regardless of whether the treatment is the same or different, the ad only concerns whiplash treatment after bump/ fall, not auto accidents.
