Difference between a claim and conclusion

How do I distinguish the difference between a claim and conclusion? I seemed to have been under the impression a claim functioned similarly to a conclusion.

@reyesej4,

A claim is synonymous with a statement. It could serve any function in the argument - a premise, a sub conclusion, or a main conclusion.

So a conclusion is under the umbrella of a claim? A statement could be a claim but not a conclusion but not the other way around?
