The LSAT is entirely digital now and is administered on a tablet. I think the video might have been recorded before this change took effect. Taking practice tests on a tablet and using scratch paper as needed will most closely resemble an actual test.

Good luck with your studies.

When learning how to recognize each question type, is it crucial to know the question type with the sub category in parentheses or just the question types?

@john,

It is helpful to identify question types on practice tests as you learn the strategies associated with solving different question types and identify your weaknesses but on a real test you are unlikely to think of questions in terms of type/ category, so I would focus more on general understanding on how to approach questions rather than memorizing the subtypes. It might sound confusing now but the more you practice, the more intuitive it will become.

However, I noticed the program recommended 12-16 weeks. In your opinion, would it be better, for admission purposes, to delay receiving my LSAT score and study longer for the February LSAT, or go ahead and try to take the January LSAT. Meaning, does waiting an extra month significantly lower my chance of getting into a certain school
