@suzanne,

My apologies - it looks like my message got cut off.

This is a linear game that requires us to determine the order of antiques being auctioned off - H L M S T V

__ __ __ __ __ __
1 2 3 4 5 6

The following rules apply:

(1) sundial is not auctioned on June 1st.

__ __ __ __ __ __
1 2 3 4 5 6
~S

(2) if the harmonica is auctioned on an earlier date than the lamp, then the mirror is also auctioned on an earlier date than the lamp

H>L -> M >L

We can infer that if M is auctioned on a later date than the L, H must also be auctioned on a later date than the L:

L> M -> L>H

(3) The sundial is auctioned on an earlier date than the mirror and also on an earlier date than the vase.

S > M & V

We can infer that S cannot be #5 or #6 and neither M nor V can be #1.

__ __ __ __ __ __
1 2 3 4 5 6
~S ~S ~S
~M
~V

(4) The table is auctioned on an earlier date than the harmonica or on an earlier date than the vase, but not both

V>T >H v H>T >V

Taken together we have the following diagram:
__ __ __ __ __ __
1 2 3 4 5 6
~S ~S ~S
~M
~V

H>L -> M >L
L> M -> L>H

S > M & V

H>T> V
or
V >T> H

Let me know if you have any other questions.
