Substitute
Could you explain how to solve this problem? Since S can be either west or East, how determine its position only by sequence? And thought S can be later than U. Whee am I wrong? Thank you!

This is one of the easier substitution questions, so it is important not to overthink it. The rules tell us that S must be presented in the west theater and U must be presented in the east theater. Thus, the rule that S must be presented in the west theater is equivalent to saying that S cannot be in the same theater as U. Since we only have two theater options, this rule would lead to the same inference that S must be presented in the west theater.
