In the example question, why is H put in the possible 3 spot?

It says either H or M is going to be in the third spot

@IsahiaL,

Which question are you referring to?

If you are asking about #15 (the second question of Game 1), we put H into spot 3 for the purpose of making hypothetical scenarios to eliminate possible options. This does not mean that H must go into spot 3, just that it is one possible option (as is M).

Does that make sense? Let us know if you have any other questions.
