The flawed methodology of the studies describes a potential problem with the process of the study that ended up suggesting the treatment for muscle pain was effective. Meanwhile, the not uniform criteria of the judges in the baking contest describes a potential problem with the process of the judging that ended up suggesting the cake was best. Hope this helps describe the parallel between the two.
