Why do is D incorrect?

I thought passage B was also resolving the paradox by telling us that that how the study is used to resolve the conflict does not work. I though her explanation was another way to resolve the paradox.

Hi @manvir,

The issue with (D) is that the word "paradox" is too strong to describe the question the authors are trying to answer. While relative prosperity seeming more important than absolute wealth may be unintuitive, it doesn't quite rise to the level of "paradoxical." Hope this helps.
