Thanks for the question! So for argument evaluation, we're looking for additional information presented by or asked by an answer choice that might help us decide whether the argument in the stimulus is a good or bad one. We are, as it says, evaluating the actual argument. In method of reasoning, on the other hand, we’re just looking at the argument itself and figuring out what specific role different sentences in the argument play (premise, conclusion, etc.), or how the argument itself works. Note that no actual evaluation of the strength of the argument happens here. For method of reasoning questions, definitely just look for the answer choice that best describes the argument, and try not to overthink it too much. For argument evaluation, find an answer choice that, if you knew the answer, would help you mark the argument as a good or bad one. Hope this helps!
