What do you think of the following diagram of the question?
T --> >M
M --> >D
S most >M .... which could be reversed to M some >S
The deductions that helped me with the answer choices are:
T --> >M --> >D
Thus, T --> >D
S most >M --> >D
Thus, S most >D
Also, since most, but not all, S is older than M and T are older than M, then some S could be younger or as old as T, so answer choice D could be true, am I mistaken? I ask bc the explanation illustrated that there is no relation between T and S and so we can't know the answer.

Thanks for the question! Your diagram looks fine to me. Answer choice (D) could be true, but it could also be false, which is why it isn’t the answer. It could be the case that all tulip trees are as old as the oldest sycamore, and it could be the case that there are some that aren’t as old as the oldest sycamores. This is because of the “most/some†logic that you were pointing to.
