question 15

Is this a strengthen question with sufficient premise? I keep trying to find answers that the author is "assuming" and not necessarily one that strengthens the argument. For instance, I chose D: The opposition would benefit from showing a desire to compromise, because the political leader is "assuming" that the opposition will not necessarily benefit from the compromise. How do I fix this problem? Thanks.

This is a sufficient assumption, we need to pick the answer choice that fixes the argument. C would fix this argument: the author thinks that both of two options would benefit them, but only shows that one option would benefit her party. C demonstrates that the other option would also benefit them.
