"At least two groups march behind the puppeteers but ahead of the musicians." With this statement how can we conclude that at least two groups are between puppeteers and musicians? Thanks.

Hi @kenken,

The statement tells us that there are at least two groups behind the puppeteers but ahead of the musicians.

What do we learn from this statement?

(1) There are at least two groups marching behind the puppeteers.

P _ _

(2) There are at least two groups marching ahead of the musicians

_ _ M

(3) The inclusion of the word "but" tells us that these are the same 2+ groups i.e. there are two groups following P but also preceding M

P _ _ M

Therefore, we can conclude that there are at least two groups between P and M.

Hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
