Hi @aonyonyi,Thanks for the question! So let’s take a look at this one, which is asking for which one of the answer choices must be false.
Let’s take a look at (D), which says it’s impossible for H to be interviewed the day before F. Well, if HF were to be a block, it could only be in two places. HF could be in slots 1 and 2, or HF could be in slots 3 and 4. HF cannot be in slots 2 and 3. Why? Because Q has to interview F (from rule 3), and R has to interview on the third day (from rule 4), so F can’t be on the third day.
Now let’s say that HF are on the first two days. But that means that G and I are on the last two days, which means they’re consecutive, which violates the second rule.
Let’s say that HF are on days 3 and 4. But again, that means G and I are on the first two days, which means they’re consecutive, which again violates rule 2.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

So then why is B not correct? If it were FH its the same issue isnt it?

The issue with the HF block is about the placement of q. However, in an FH block Q is places one slot earlier so we do not have the same issue.
