Hi @avif,

Thanks for the question! (E) is wrong because it doesn’t most logically complete the argument! It makes no mention of sympathy or justice, which is clearly where the argument is going. (E) may be true, but it doesn’t really answer the question, since it doesn’t follow where the logical flow of the argument, which wouldn’t introduce sympathy and justice just to drop them in the end.
