Thanks for the question! It’s very important to read the stimulus and the answer choice carefully here. (A) tells us that office workers who have more control tend to do less typing, and those who have less control tend to do more typing. This sounds promising at first, but remember in the study, office workers who do similar amounts of typing are compared, which we are told in the second sentence. So (A) can’t explain the findings of the study, since the study compares people tho do similar amounts of typing, and (A) is about people who don’t do similar amounts of typing.
