Question 25

Hi @rebut,devon on February 22, 2023
Though the passage doesn't previously provide that information, if it were to be true, it would greatly strengthen the claim the author is making, no? That said, when approaching these extension questions, will the correct answer ever contain information not said/assumed in the passage?Emil-Kunkin on February 23, 2023
If it were true, it would indeed strengthen the argument, however, this is not a strengthen question. It's asking what would be the best completion. Which is essentially a must be true question. The only times that we would be asked to select an answer that is not supported by the passage is on a strengthen or weaken question, which will always ask us "which of the following if true"devon on February 24, 2023
Perfect! Thanks Emil
