Understanding Either Or Possibilities

So i understand that No X -> Y and No Y -> X are true. I also understand that No X -> No Y is impossible and vice versa. Its explained that X -> Y is possible, but for it to be possible, am I understanding correctly that it is only possible based on the conditions of the question. So X -> Y is only CONDITIONALLY POSSIBLE?

@andreaskormusis, yes, that's correct. The reason that X-->Y is possible is because X and Y are both in the necessary conditions of the given statements. When a necessary condition of a conditional statement is satisfied, the rule effectively goes away. Thus, it's possible to have X-->Y.
