Ans Choice B

Hi, Is Ans Choice B because of the absence of Esch in the Passage B.? Thanks in advance!

You are correct!

Additionally, lines 53 to 56 of Passage B tell us that Wenner and others (it is unclear whether this includes Esch) believed that bees partly rely on olfactory cues (aka smell/door) to find food sources, but this turned out to be untrue.

Overall, Passage B is not explicit enough in agreeing with the statement presented in answer choice (B) as it does not discuss Esch and lines 53 to 55 suggest that the author of Passage B might even disagree with this statement.
