Help with A and C

Please explain why C Is wrong. Is A correct because even without those things, the image size will still be distorted from how it was intended to be projected?

Hi @fable,

Happy to help!

Answer choice (C) is incorrect because the author does not discuss the technical limitations involved in the process of reproducing films. In fact, in lines 41 to 44, the author tells us that "the very nature of film makes it an exactly reproducible art form; under ideal conditions, each print is not merely a reproduction but is in fact another instance of the work itself." This suggests that there may be no technical limitations involved in the process of reproducing films.

All the issues the author discusses with film reproduction involve either social factors - e.g. external factors or translation for viewing in different countries - or the transfer of film to a different medium i.e. television or video.

Yes, answer choice (A) is correct for this reason. The answer choice lists all the deformations the author tell us occur when a film is shown on television or video except for loss of image size and definition. Therefore, the author would agree that there is still at least one aspect of the film that would be artistically compromised.

Hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
