Could anybody explain why A is correct and D is wrong? I understand why Gwen's call must be live, but it seems like that at the same way Felicia's call must be taped (since she doesn't call from Seattle and both of Seattle calls are live). Thank you very much!

Thanks for the question! So in essence, we know that G’s call is live because G is in Seattle. So now let’s take a look at (D), which tells us that F’s call is taped. Well, what do we know about F? We know that F is from Vancouver, since neither M nor F calls from Seattle, and H is the single caller from K (since H has two people before and after it, and K is the third call).
So F calls from Vancouver. Do we know if Vancouver calls are lived or taped? No. Are we told that only the Seattle calls are live? No. The Vancouver calls could be taped too. So we don’t know for sure about (D), making it incorrect.
