Why not A?

Can you please explain why the answer is B and not A? My thoughts were that talking about the oxygen storage of land mammals was completely irrelevant to the discussion of seals. Also, B looks like it's a weakening answer choice which I agree makes it a correct selection. I'm wondering if I'm interpreting the answer choices correctly - if there is an irrelevant answer choice vs. a weakening answer choice, should I always be selecting the weakening?

From what I can gather, the relationship between another animal using the organ for a similar purpose as a seal (in this case, a horse) is more logical than the use of muscle tissue, as muscle tissue is mentioned nowhere in the stimulus, and has nothing to do with the hypothesis regarding the use of the spleen.
