I am horrible at max and min questions. Can someone please explain this one to me?

I would start with what the rules tell us about the fourth spot. Since k must be before two things, K cannot be fourth. Nor can G, since G comes before the HF block. Since there don't seem to be any rules barring hf in either order from going fourth we know that two are fine. We can then quickly test the final one and see if it can go fourth.
