Well, we know J has to be in a shared locker directly from rule 3, but that doesn’t really help, since J is in every answer choice.

Well, let’s take a look at rule 2. It tells us that each shared locker has to be assigned to a girl and a boy. There’s five lockers and 7 people, which means 2 people have to share lockers. That means that 2 girls and 2 boys have to share lockers. Let’s take a look at the girls, since there’s only 3 of them. We know from rule 3 that R doesn’t share a locker. Well, there’s only 2 girls left: N and T! That means both of them have to share lockers as well. Since J, N, and T all have to share lockers, (E) is the correct answer choice.
