Why not B

Can someone please help to explain why B would be the wrong answer? Thank you!

Hi @liwenong28,

Thanks for the question! So we’re asked here to find something the most analogous to Dunham’s work in anthropology and choreography as it’s described in the passage. So how is her work described in the passage? Well, she’s an expert researcher and dancer, immersed herself, and also taught what she learned.

So now let’s take a look at (B), which tells us about an Australian medical researcher with training in botany who analyzes some plants that other researchers have collected in the Philippines, and then an Australian pharmaceutical company uses her findings to develop successful new medicines. So this is definitely similar in some ways. There’s experience in botany and medical research, and the information gets passed on. But this isn’t the most analogous, because remember, Dunham danced the dances that she studied. So here, it would be more like if the Australian medical researcher used the plants herself for medical reasons. But that doesn’t happen.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
