The passage gave us one example of a technique that is easy to learn and yielded accurate information (telling the eyewitnesses to close their eyes). But just because there’s one example of a technique that’s easy to learn and yields accurate results doesn’t mean that techniques that are easy to learn generally yield accurate results. It could be the case that telling the eyewitnesses to close their eyes is the only technique that’s both easy and accurate. In other words, (D) is wrong because it commits a sampling flaw.
