October 2010 LSAT Section 2 Question 15

If the display includes a yellow tyrannosaur, then which one of the following must be true?

Colors

I got stuck in the exact spot the LSAT wanted me to get stuck. I assumed, that all the colors had to be used which is why 3 of the answer choices for this particular question looked like they MBT. When I see "or" in the stimulus without any key words like "exactly", I should assume "not necessarily all"? Ironically, I got the answers correct (besides this one) assuming that each color had to be used once.

Thanks for the question! When the LSAT doesn’t give any indication that you have to use all the colors, you shouldn’t just assume you need to use all the colors. In general, if there’s no indication that you need to use all of the game elements/pieces, then don’t assume that you do! They’ll say something like “everyone goes at least once” or something like that.
