diagramming question

I answered this question correctly, then watched the explanation video, and the diagram there was different then the one I set up. She treated the If portion of the first sentence of the passage as an umbrella term, so to speak, but that's not what I did. This is what I did: CMCFU + IG ----> NCI Is this correct also? This way seems to yield an additional inferences that from my perspective wouldn't be obvious with the other diagram.

Thanks for the question! Yes, that is a correct diagram! We can diagram the statement

CMCFU —> (~NCI —> ~IG)

and take a contrapositive to get

CMCFU —> IG —> NCI

which is equivalent to

CMCFU & IG —> NCI
