B vs D

Can someone explain the difference of B vs D?

I guess I see the difference in the answers because D deals directly with the packaging on the cigarettes but I don't completely see why B doesn't work?

Hi @Alexandra,

Thanks for the question! We can actually diagram both of these statements, which might help to draw out their differences. (B) is diagrammed

Look at disturbing pics frequently —> Affect smoking habits

(D) is diagrammed

~Frequently look —> ~Affect smoking habits

So these two are actually reversals/negations of each other! One must be right and fit with the stimulus, and the other must be wrong. Here, (D) is the one that completes the argument.
