In C, the answer says that the physical effects of aging can be prevented, while the stimulus states that exercise can slow the physical effects. It says nothing about prevention though. I hope that helps.

As to why the right answer is right, the passage tells us that exercise actually helps slow aging, while drugs do not. E is more or less a restatement, so it must be true.
