why is the answer not A

is C not too strong. I choose A because it seemed to be supporting the view that there is no bias but it was also not too strong.

Can someone please explain why C is correct and not A?

I chose a as well because the stimulus his basically saying the media can't be bias because of public pressure. The rule can be applied to both sides of the spectrum.
