Why is C incorrect?
If Bordwell is arguing that the viewers perceive the films as realistic, and then they are praising them for being unrealistic, wouldn't this undermine his belief? Thank you for all of your help!

Answer choice (A) is incorrect because it does not necessarily undermine Bordwell's belief. Answer choice (A) tells us that reviewers generally praised the films' unrealistic elements.
First, reviewers may experience films differently than general audiences due to their immersion in the world of film and their purpose in viewing films.
Second, the fact that the films may have unrealistic elements does not necessarily mean that their structure is not perceived as realistic.
