Im a little confused, because although it would be impossible to predict the path and destination at some point, aren't you still able to replicate the starting conditions? thanks !

I think the problem described in paragraphs two and three is that the starting conditions are essentially shifting. That is, that since even miniscule changes radically alter the outcomes, the starting positions are effectively not replicatable
