Please explain why? The passage didn't state that timing mattered in regards to how long someone would test the theory.

If A is true, then there is an issue with the argument because somebody could potentially end up relying on the results of a bad experiment before it's been replicated and disconfirmed by others.

Thus, A weakens the argument and is the correct choice.
