I am as confused as you are Alexandria as to why the answer is not C.Akishmish98 on October 12, 2021
it doesn't state that 50 were used it states that per 50 sterilizations, a certain amount of energy is used. they could have and probably did use more than 50 in their study. B is the correct answer choice because it takes 3.4 times the energy to sterilize 50 than it does to make one new set. to only sterilize one it takes 34/50 times the amount of energy and so long as that is smaller than 1x answer B cannot be true.Eaten on October 22, 2021
I chose C for this same reason! I thought the passage was stating that 50 were sterilized each- in which C would contradict that. Crazy how one word completely changes it all
