If jays are not in the forest, then which one of the following must be false?

Why is the answer D?

Hello, I am not sure why this is the correct answer. The rules, as I understand them are as follows: 1: H->notG / G->notH (either or) 2: J or M -> H / notH -> notJ and notM 3: W -> J / notG -> notW 4: J -> S / notS -> notJ So, if the answer is "D - Neither martins nor shrikes are in the forest." how is the scenario as follows not valid with the given rules? In | Out: H | JMSGW or G | JHMSW "NotJ" is not a sufficient condition for anything in the rules, nor can I see how it might lead to anything either. How can we conclude that we need either S or M if J is not present? The only thing I can see is we need either H or G because those cannot be with each other. Please help!
