Hi, can someone please explain why answer choice B is wrong?

Hi, I can't figure out why answer choice B is wrong. If 4 cant go before 2 or later than 8, it must therefore go either thursday or friday, which is in line with the original rule?

Hi, 8 could go last, so B would allow 4 to go in the third day.
