General Question

I had a question for statements like if A then B does this mean it can be an "either or" both or not both kind of statement ?? because both can still exist if A exist so i'm confused

For an "If A then B" statement, so know that if A happens, then B must happen.

It is possible that they both happen, and it is possible that only B happens, and it is possible that neither happen. It is not possible that only A happens, since we know if A, then B.
