Hi there! I am confused on this question. I originally selected "E" as the correct answer. I did so because "false economy" seems vague to me. After watching the explanation afterward in the video, I feel better, but still. How do we know that the premises follow to the conclusion if we don't know what the conclusion means?

This comes from context clues. Your job is to understand terms both from knowledge and from context. If there are three clauses that seem to all be leading up to one conclusion, and one clause you don't understand, there's a good chance the part you don't understand is the conclusion, which merits taking another look to try to understand it
