For must be true questions in logic games we aren't just looking for something that could be true in a game board, we're looking for something that must be true in every successful game board. You're right that T could go first, and M could go fourth. However, they don't have to go in these positions.

I came up with the example game:
M W V T N L
In this case, T is not first and M is not fourth. Therefore we can eliminate answer options A and B because they don't have to be true. Similarly, using this solution we can eliminate options C and D as well, because they aren't true. We are left with E.

Another way to get to the answer for must be true questions is using the rules to make deductions about what always is the case. This game is a harder one, so it's not easy to see here, but we can get to E this way nonetheless.

In tricky cases like this game, we may have to resort to elimination based on our previous diagrams and testing out options. For example try to eliminate option A by placing T somewhere other than 1.

In case you want to try thinking about this deduction abstractly, here's an explanation of how we could get to E. (If this following explanation doesn't make sense because it's rather complex, that's fine and we could solve this question by eliminating answer options.) We know that four of our variables are paired with two spaces in between them (T and M, V and L). When we think about where these pairs could go, there's actually not that many options. The pairs are going to have to go either in 1,4 and 3,6, 1,4, and 2,5, or 2,5, and 3,6. In any of these situations, the two remaining spots, where N and W must go, have exactly two spaces between them.
