I’m not sure how on this question it was assumed that if you had a newspaper you could also a pair it with tin, As if it was one of the conditions or rules.

Hi CJLEAL,

We can generally pair anything with anything else unless we have a rule or deduction telling us we can't. In this case, we actually have no rules whatsoever about tin, so we would (unless the other spots are already filled) be able to put it into any empty slot regardless of what other materials the recycling center recycles.

The default assumption for most games is that we are allowed to move around the materials unless we have a rule or part of the setup that tells us otherwise.
