Hi Rikuto,

We know that Paula thinks that it is likely that aliens have radio communication. Her rationale for this is that aliens would have the same understanding of science as we would. Ashley rejects this idea- and actively rejects the idea of using radio telescopes to find aliens. In fact, she notes that our tech (including radio comms) are unique to earth. from that term unique, we can conclude that she thinks it is unlikely aliens have the same tech as us.
