Hi RachP,

The difference between C and D is the final clause. C says that many of the people who read the novel have vivid imaginations, while D says that many people in general must have vivid imaginations. D is the same flaw as the stimulus. We are reaching conclusions from one group (people who have read the novel, or instances when Merle has put a dollar in the machine) about a much bigger group of people/instances.
