HELP

Why can't Thursday be LGH? The days that have restrictions are Friday and Saturday as they cannot play the three movies but Thursday can and it is just a matter of placing L before G to maximize. Please help because I have read all the comments already and they are not helpful. Why can't thursday be LGH?

Hi Yanela,

Lets try to put LGH on thursday. Remember for this question we have a new constraint, that L is never shown again after G.

T: L, G, H
F: (Maybe H), G
S: G

I dont immediately see why we couldn't do this- however, we are only concerned about the maximum number of possible films- and this scenario gives us 6. We could also use the following scenario

T: L, H
F: H, L
S: L G

Which also yields 6.
