Hi @Tyler808,

(B) is describing Circular Reasoning. This is actually super rare on the LSAT, so when you see something like (B) it's very rarely the right answer.

Circular Reasoning is essentially when an author already decides they are correct, then moves from there to make that statement.

In the spirit of neutrality I'll give examples on both sides of the political spectrum, as it happens on both sides:

"We know Trump was colluding with Russians, and we know Trump was president and controlled the FBI. That's why we can say with certainty that Mueller's Report was doctored, and Trump is in fact colluding with Russians."

In this case, the fact that trump is colluding with Russians is being used as evidence to prove itself.

"Since anthropogenic climate change isn't real, and since our planet goes through many different geological and climatological cycles, it's definitely something other than humans causing temperature rises."

Here, a disbelief in anthropogenic climate change is being used as evidence for its own existence.

If you want any more practice identifying what you're seeing in the answer choices, I HIGHLY recommend practicing the "Answer Choice Fallacies" flashcards in the Errors in Reasoning lesson. I did like 20 a day, brought my score up by at least 5 points I can't recommend it enough.

Hope this helps!
